The OpenComment MCP gives visitors a public way to learn how the product works and lets connected customers use supported account workflows through their AI assistant.
Connect an assistant
Add the server URL to an MCP-compatible assistant to explore public product information. For company workflows, sign in through OpenComment and choose the permissions to grant. You can also create an expiring company API key from agent settings for unattended use.

- Add the server URL to your assistant's MCP settings. No authentication is needed for public product information.
- For account tools, use your assistant's sign-in option or add an API key. Review the company, permissions and spending budget.
- Ask the assistant to inspect your setup or start with a supported workflow.

Your account stays in your control
New connections start with read access. You choose write permissions and credit limits, can review agent activity, and can revoke access. Sensitive changes require review in the OpenComment website.
OpenComment prepares comments for review. Posting to LinkedIn remains a user-started action in the Chrome extension; assistants cannot post through MCP.
